Hi all I have a budget Garmin Nuvi 1350.
I believe I could have a problem with the warnings on Custom POI's. I load custom POI's via the POI loader set the warnings but they don't work. The only time it worked was when I set one of the Custom POI's as the destination and then a warning came up.
Is my Garmin faulty or not?

| I dont get warning either (im simulated mode, maybe because it doesnt go over speed limit to set off a warning?)

Is the proximity alerts enabled in the settings? This needs to be on for the proximity alert to work. Hopefully, that is what you need to do to get the alerts.

| My proximity alerts is on, and it still didnt go off during simulation. I havent tried this in a real drive yet though...

There are 2 ways to load POI using the POILoader: Express and Manual. In manual mode, you have to enable alert. Using the express mode, the POILoader uses rules to enable proximity alert.
You might want to look at the POILoader help under the section "Understanding Speed and Proximity Alert Information".
