Hi All
I Have a 265w that i need to load the speed alert wav files but the only ones that i have are MP3 can i load these on to the Garmin and will they work if not how do i convert them into wave files

You can download Garmin WAV files here: www.gps-data-team.com/poidownloads.php

You can also convert your old MP3 files to the WAVE file format with a free OGG voice editor for TomTom.

Have been and changed these to wave files like you said works a treat

Wav files are typically much bigger is size than mp3, although they are generally better sound quality.

If you are not particularly worried about excellent sound quality (and with gps speakers you shouldn't be) I'd stick with the mp3 files, as they will allow you to load more onto your gps without a SD card.
