Ok so I've just bought it and it does what I need it to do. Namely make sure I know where to go and it gives me a little bell when I'm going to fast or entering somewhere that there's a school zone and all that. So it does exactly what I need it to do. The Australian voice is even Australian 
However ....
Where is the online manual for this model? I've looked all over the website and unless I'm blind I can't see it.
Also inside the Navdesk software is an option to activate that asks for a product key. Now I've put in every number I can find including the P/N on the bottom of the unit but still nothing, what is this "Activate" option for and where is the number?

Just went all over Navman site, and as you said, can't find manuals anywhere. The unit seems to work fine but the documentation is atrocious.
I can't find a product key, and I can't even find a real manual for it. Navman, what kind of device doesn't even come with a manual?

Have looked for manuals on Navman site for others and they are missing or not available.
Would recommend you call them and ask.
Also, report the answer here, IF you get one..

ive just bought a Navman today and I was so excited about it but when I tried to find a manual for it, I couldn't find it anywhere. I expected the manual to come in the box but when I opened the box I was disappointed to find that there was none. I paid $400 for it and it doesn't even come with a manual, but at least the Navman actually works fine for now.
I plan to call Navman and see if they can help me with this manual problem though.

| They are on the disk you get with the unit. Use explorer to look at them. I think they are PDF files
