| Good day: Does anyone know how to update the skin for igo8 screen resolution 480x234? Does anyone know how to make safety POIs annouce a verbal alert rather than the ding noise? Thanks.

Hi mate,
On your SD card look for the file called sys.txt. Backup this file, open it and look under
[rawdisplay]. Change value of screen_x=480 & screen_y=234. Save & reboot. VOILA. Screen resolution will have changed.

Which igo version are we talking about, as i know igo 8.3 does not offer safety alerts as standar, but if you get s skin such as Gurjon then u can.
8.4 is amigo, and thats a differnet story, so u need to specify which version as there totally different
