The Navig8r units use the OV2 TomTom POI format.
You can either download the OV2 easily from this site, or you can convert any other formats to this one using the POI tools on this site: http://www.gps-data-team.com/convert.php
I have had my navig8r G35 unit for only 3 days and so far I have found it to far and away exceed all my requirements and expectations for a budget GPS/SatNav. What a great buy!
Thanks guys for this great site also!

I found some reviews claiming that Navig8r is the best Aussie budget car GPS units on the market.
What a joke...
Mine worked 2 weeks only. Replacement Navig8r worked 3 weeks. Long enough to get lost 5 times (old maps, missing round-abouts, incorrect points, etc. I often travel to Sydney and Melbourne and I get lost without GPS. I believed that any GPS would be better than a map.
I learned hard way that not all GPS were created equal.
I decided to buy some real GPS after my 2nd Navig8r stopped navigating.

All LASER products are designed, developed and made in China and Hong Kong.
Chinese private label service agreement allows the Laser Co. to rebrand their bottom line products under the Navig[8]r brand name and to sell it in Australia as a "genuine" Aussie GPS brand.
The bottom line is: Made in China.
