Hi,

I've added 3 POI files which I though were to the directory; after doing so the next screen said they were added and I was able to click on the link to see the file.

But now, when I try to search for them in the directory, a message displays that says 0 files were found.

Did I do something wrong? How do I know if my locations are entered in the database or not?

Thanks! Sad
Wanda

Hi Wanda,
Searching for your locations is OK, but you need to wait some time until your addition gets indexed.
We generaly do not remove incorrect custom POI additions for a week as we allow you some time to fix all possible problems (incorrect description, location, icon size, country, POI category, etc.).
You can make any correction within that period. You are welcome to ask any more specific question and someone will guide you through the POI listing process, step by step, until you are happy with your listing.
Please include the link to your POI's if you need some more specific guide.
Regards

Hi Mark,

I found our one listing this morning quite easily. I guess I just had to give it some time to be indexed. I haven't been able to find the other 2 listings though - so will wait a bit and try again. If they are incorrect, will I be notified of their removal?

Also, for the one listing I did find, I did do some editing in it, but for the logo, is it possible to use the logo I submitted? Or do I need to re-size and re-submit to you? I only have the logo in jpg format and was told it had to be a 22 x 22 bmp??

Thanks once again, Mark! You're the best!
Wanda

Thanks!

You may be notified about removal if you ask for it.
You should resize your logo to 22x22 bmp.

Ok, where do I tell someone I want to be notified of deletion?

I'll try re-sizing and re-submitting.

Thanks Mark!

Hi
You can use this link: http://www.gps-data-team.com/pda-gps-navigation/privmsg.php?mode=post&u=3
Please provide submitted coordinates and POI description. You'll be informed about all necessary changes, BMP and POI description issues.
